| I don't know about anyone else, but I have no idea how it has gotten to be the end of October. Regularity of life seemed to come to a halt in March. The middle of July, I realized I was missing things because my calender was still on March. A few days ago, I realized the calendar was still on Aug. which was when we left for the beach. This is not good!!!! So all of you grand people who may wonder why I missed your birthday or some other significant event now you have a hint as to why!

| Telling the world. 40 years ago today, Larry and I watched the first man walk on the moon. We had been seeing each other for a whopping 10 days, and it was my first time to go to his house and meet his parents. 5 years later we celebrated the day by getting married. July 20th is a great day and it has been 35 great years with a great man. Too bad all women cannot be as blessed as I. Eat your heart out!!! Looking for many more years of the same and better!!

We began the great day of celebrating Mamma's 90th Birthday on Dec. 21st by attending the baby dedication of one of her youngest greatgrandchildren, Mya. We gathered for appetizers at Pam's house before heading to the restaurant for the big shebang. Joshua was the only grandchild missing (couldn't make it from Chicago since he was coming 1 1/2weeks later to get Sydney). Fabulous family gathering!!!!! We are SOOO glad we did this. Hannah and I have the privilege of catching a moment with Mamma. Now we add in my sisters and the granddaughters/granddaughters-in-law, but Shelley is somehow missing, carring for the little ones. Can''t believe we missed a picture with the 4th generation that was attending. Guess we were just sidetracked by all the festivities to think of some of the details. What a joy it was to also have Sydney with us, too. She was an angel. Debe, Mamma, Pam, and me. First and second generation. A fun cake with candles from the restaurant just for her. Each of us were a "flower in her garden". We each, even the greatgrans, had a written and veral tribute to her and gave her one of our favorite flowers for her bouquet when we shared our story. {The written stories were put into a gorgeous photo album of her life.} Each person spoke in the order in which we were added to Mamma and Daddy's family. She was pretty overwhelmed by all that was said, the memories shared, the gratitude expressed, the things that were so important to us. She said she had never been so good in her whole life. She was one classy looking lady as always. Not bad for 90, wouldn't you say? The reason I had been so anxious to get this tribute posted before Mother's Day is that the greatest mother ever graduated to heaven very unexpectedly on March 23rd. [Thanks Laine for this thought] She was still talking about the great celebration to all of her friends, even on the day that she died. As much as she had expressed her thanks to all of us, she told a friend that she needed to sit down that night and write the 3 of us notes about how much it meant to her. That's my gracious mother. Wish all of you could have known her. Mamma, I miss you so much, especially today. YOU ARE THE BEST

| I tried to do a post before Mother's Day, but just happened to hit it just after xanga had done some kind of update so they were having trouble with posting pictures and videos. I had gotten all the way thru uploading the pictures. When it hit uploading the last picture, which of course was the most important one, there were "connection" problems. Tried 3 times and again the next day. xanga was telling people it would be corrected in 15 minutes. HA. We left town without the post being done. I finally had the chance to try again tonight, similar problem, but it began with the first picture, it's late and will have to wait again. UGGGHHHH. Eat your heart out, we were in Israel on Mother's Day!!!!!!!!!! Will attempt to post a few pictures of that sometime too, but I am determined to get that other post done first.

| Maybe I will try to remember what Hannah told me about adding pics to an entry since she won't be around this month. I got it when she showed me, but remembering is another story. Will definitely have to do it when I have time to actually think. Yep, a slow learner. As it is, the pics aren't even current anymore. BTW, Hannah is loving Guatemala just like she did Thailand, but obviously for different reasons. Another btw, is anyone else upset that have bumped up daylight savings time AGAIN?!!! I really hate it. After all, we are such a great agrarian society these days that we reallllly need to help the farmers have more field time!!!!
